Get ready to be swept away into a world of whimsy at the 42nd Annual Butter & Egg Days Parade in Petaluma! This year’s theme, “Petaluma’s Wonderland – Where Imagination Blooms,” invites you to embrace the magic, charm, and creativity that make our town so special.

 A Parade Like No Other! 
On Saturday, April 19, the streets of Historic Downtown Petaluma will burst to life with vibrant floats, dazzling costumes, and high-energy performances celebrating our rich agricultural heritage with a playful, storybook twist. With over 100 parade units, 3,000 participants, and 200 volunteers, this can’t-miss event brings our community together in the most wonderful way!

 Clover Kids’ Parade – A Sweet Start! 
Before the main event, Clover Sonoma proudly leads the Clover Kids’ Parade at 11:30 a.m., featuring our littlest locals—preschoolers, primary-grade students, and their families—marching in an adorable procession!

 A Full Day of Festival Fun! 
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., four city blocks will transform into a bustling festival filled with:
 Delicious local food & drinks 
 Artisan crafts & unique shopping 
 Live music & entertainment 
 Two kid-friendly activity zones 
 Beverage gardens for the grown-ups 

 A Month of Celebration! 
Kick things off at the Opening Ceremonies on Saturday, April 12, at the Petaluma Historical Library & Museum (Noon – 1 p.m.), where Mayor Kevin McDonnell will honor this year’s Grand Marshal and Good Egg—a true tribute to our community spirit!

Then, don’t miss the Annual Antique Faire on Sunday, April 27, keeping the celebration alive with a treasure trove of vintage finds!
