A Theater For Children Presents World Premiere Musical “The Emperor’s New Clothes”

Santa Rosa, CA — A Theater For Children proudly announces the world premiere of a brand-new musical for young audiences, The Emperor’s New Clothes. This original production was co-created by director Bridget Palmer, her adult assistants Katie Price and Ella Lyman, and an ensemble of nearly 30 talented young actors ages 10 to 15.

“We’re all big Hamilton fans,” says Palmer. “So it was a joy to invent lyrics and music for this complex fairytale — so perfect for the modern era.”

This lively and imaginative retelling of the classic story promises fun for the whole family and is designed for audiences ages 4 and up. Expect clever humor, catchy songs, and plenty of heart as these young performers bring a timeless tale to life in a way that speaks to today’s audiences.
